Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy
At Villager, we want you to feel confident shopping with us. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.
1. Return Window
We offer a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

unworn, unused, unwashed, and in its original condition

returned with all original tags attached
-
returned in its original packaging where possible
-
accompanied by proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation or receipt
Villager reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
2. How to Start a Return
To request a return, please contact us at info@villagerclothing.com or initiate your return through the Villager website where available.
Once your return request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your parcel.
Please note: Items sent back to us without first requesting and receiving return approval will not be accepted.

3. Return Shipping
United Kingdom
Villager offers complimentary return shipping for approved returns within the UK.
Nigeria
For returns originating from Nigeria, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged, or the wrong item was sent.
International Orders
For all international returns outside the UK, customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
Villager is not responsible for any loss or damage to returned items in transit, so we recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service where possible.
4. Exchanges
We currently offer exchanges for a different size or colour of the same style, subject to stock availability.
If you would like to exchange for a different product or style, we recommend returning the original item for a refund and placing a new order for the preferred item.
Villager reserves the right to limit exchange requests where stock is unavailable.
For UK customers, Villager will provide one complimentary exchange shipment per approved exchange.
5. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery.
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at info@villagerclothing.com with:

clear photographs showing the problem
We will review the issue and work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Where a fault or fulfilment error is confirmed, Villager will cover the cost of the return and arrange a refund, replacement, or exchange as appropriate.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund, unless they are faulty:

sale items or discounted items

gift cards

custom-made, personalised, or special-order items

personal care products, where applicable

perishable goods, where applicable

hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases, where applicable
If you are unsure whether your item qualifies for return, please contact us before placing your order.
7. European Union Cooling-Off Period
If your order is delivered to a country within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, for any reason and without justification, in accordance with applicable consumer law.
To qualify, the item must still be returned in the same condition in which it was received:

unworn, unused, and unwashed

with tags attached
-
in its original packaging where possible

with proof of purchase
This right does not apply to exempt items such as personalised or made-to-order goods where permitted by law.
8. Refunds
Once we receive your return, we will inspect it and notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Refund timeframes

Returns are typically processed within 3–5 business days of arriving at our facility.

Once approved, refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear on your bank statement, depending on your payment provider.

In some cases, banks or card issuers may take additional time to process the refund.

Villager reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet our return conditions.

If a return is refused, the item may be sent back to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable unless the return is due to a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item.

Delivery duties, taxes, and customs fees paid on international orders are generally non-refundable unless required by law.

During peak periods, public holidays, or major promotional campaigns, return processing times may be longer than usual.
